(1) Rated voltage: refers to the safety voltage allowed for the micro switch in normal operation, and the voltage added to the two ends of the micro switch is greater than this value, which will cause the two contacts to fire between the breakdown.
(2) Rated current: refers to the maximum safe current allowed through the micro switch when it is switched on. When it exceeds this value, the contact of the micro switch will be burned due to excessive current.
(3) Insulation resistance: refers to the conductor part of the micro switch and the insulation part of the resistance value. Insulation resistance value should be more than 100MΩ.
(4) Electrical strength: refers to the maximum voltage that a micro switch can withstand between all terminals that are insulated from each other and between the terminals and the shell.
(5) Contact resistance: the resistance between conductors is called contact resistance. For the micro switch, it is the static resistance between the terminals of the electrical connection; Generally, it is required to be less than 100mΩ. The smaller the value, the better.
(1) Terminal strength: refers to the maximum destructive power that the wiring terminals of micro switches can withstand. Different switching forces have different values.
(2) The strength of the operating parts: refers to the maximum destructive force that a micro switch's connector can withstand. Different micro switches have different force values.
Weatherability mainly evaluates whether the performance of micro switches meets the requirements in different application environments. There are mainly the following items:
(1) Low temperature: -40℃ to 25℃, etc.;
(2) High temperature: 85℃ to 125℃; 150℃ to 200℃;
(3) Constant humid heat: 40±2℃, 90% to 95%RH;
(4) Temperature conversion: do 4 cycles of high and low temperatures as specified, 12 hours per cycle, to obtain the assessment of high and low temperature impact resistance.
(5) Salt spray: it is to assess the quality of salt spray corrosion resistance of products or metal materials;
(6) Welding heat resistance: evaluates the high temperature resistance of plastic materials of micro switch;
(7) Vibration: performance of micro switches in vibrating environments;
(8) Impact: performance of micro switch in impact application environment;
(9) Protection Level: waterproof and dust-proof level, including IP00,IP40,IP54,IP67 Levels.
